I am a Grady student at the University of Georgia majoring in public relations and health promotion. This is my fourth year but I will be at UGA a little bit longer–hopefully not before HOPE runs out. lol. Any how, I love doing PR! I love the people I am meeting while learning about PR and I love the satisfaction of making clients happy. I am still trying to figure out what area of PR I would like to work in but I would love to merge my passions for PR and promoting healthily living in whatever I do.
I have always been a club person so when I first arrived to UGA I jumped right in! Currently, I live and breathe Invisible Children. I serve as one of the co-presidents this year and I’m loving every minute of it. I have also been involved in Creative Consultants by way of PRSSA, Colleges Against Cancer, National Council of Negro Women and UGA’s HERO.
Off campus, I work at Old Navy (Gap has to be the best employer ever) and intern with the YWCO.
Grady has really helped me get my feet wet in the profession but I’m eager to learn more! I can’t wait to see what God has in store for me; I just want to be happy and enjoy living life!
